Corn!

So, I guess I forgot to include the actual belly shot that last post. Here it is. And while I may not look a ton huger, I feel huger. And that counts for something right?

In other news, today we Wambeke's ran into a bit of luck. Dan and Helen got a call from their friend Bruce Bot, he had a pile (and when i say pile, I mean PILE) of sweet corn with their name on it. So, they toddled over to the Bot place and came back to our house. We got down to the business of cooking up the corn and throwing it all into freezer bags to enjoy throughout the fall, winter and spring.

Here is Ana and her first ear of sweet corn. She loved it, and her dad couldn't be any more proud.

She has started smiling for pictures, which is really nice for us. But sometimes her smile kind of comes out funny, you know, because it's posed and all.
