Finally! The lettuces are burgeoning from the ground under my cold frame. There will be modest sized salads on our dinner table in a week! Okay, maybe two weeks.
And the trees are giving of their life blood to us in spades. Here's a peek at it's amber goodness.

For anyone who's curious, we seem to have hit peak sap time - the past couple days, we're getting up to 10 gallons of sap per day!!!
By the time we boil it down to syrup, that translates into approximately a quart of syrup per day.
