Last week, all of us, minus Toby (hooray for breastmilk!), endured the stomach flu. I won't go into details, but it was pretty painful. Poor Ana had it the worst. Rest assured, she will have a strong aversion to anything resembling a barf bucket for many years to come.
Speaking of stomach's, Dan's is working out some, as of late, perpetual knots. Today was the final "presentation" of our fight to keep those high voltage power lines out of our yard. To recap the situation, a collection of energy companies are trying to put up a super high voltage line from Brookings, SD to the Twin Cities. Up until now, we've been attending a collection of "town hall" type meetings where Dan would diligently go and state our case ... that is to keep it on the other side of the road where it won't bother anyone. Today was the piece de resistance: telling it to the Judge.
Yes, Dan pleaded our case in front of many lawyers, community leaders, citizens, power company execs, and the Minnesota Judge who will ultimately determine where the line will pass and where it won't. Afterwards, nerves finally calmed, he ate a meal that could choke a pig. He must be feeling better.
Friday, Dan and I are heading to Alexandria to attend the Minnesota Lamb and Wool Conference where we will hopefully get more information on whether or not we're nuts to consider getting a flock of sheep.
Until then, enjoy this shot of Lucy and Daisy getting to be best friends.

Milo and Otis!! Anyone else remember that movie?
Ana's favorite scene is when Milo floats down the river in the box. She sits straight up and gets this "OH CRAP!" look on her face.
