This morning Dan and have ditched the wee one with Grandma and have set up mission command central at our Starbucks. Today we are writing letters to our Senators and Representatives, and later today we will be going door to door to our neighbors to make sure that everyone knows, with plenty of time, what is happening.
When we moved here last year, little did we know that our new way of life would be in jeopardy so soon. It'll be a long road. But we will keep you informed every so often with updates.
Until then, it's a busy weekend at the Shire! Aaron and Ben are coming over tonight to spend the weekend hunting. Here's hoping they get a couple of fat geese so we can have some tasty goose sausage Aaron makes. I hold that they are WAY tastier than any hormel sizzler. Then tomorrow morning Dan, Ana and i are heading to St. Michael for the Becker family reunion. And let me tell you, with that family, fun WILL be had!
