Well, here I am. Attempting to dust off this old blog and resurrect it. I admit, I haven't actually posted since late last summer. Dan has done all the posts since then. And this morning, the kids are playing nicely together so i thought I'd seize the moment and see what happens.

As is typical, the house has been busy busy busy while all things children. Toby is crashing around during all hours of the day, and some of the night. In true boy fashion, he finds the highest possible platform he can manage onto and jumps down. Sometimes on his head. And then climbs back up to do it again. Ana is cherishing having a little brother to play with, and many times fight with. But it is so wonderfful to have these two with me during the day. Even though sometimes it doesn't seem so wonderful.

Ana is starting to read even! We've picked up a homeschooling curiculuum, and while she doesn't care for much of it (she's a bit beyond the typical pre-school stuff), seh does love the math and reading portions.

Dan has been busy polishing up his maple syruping equipment in anticipation of the season that is coming up very soon! Ana has been helping when she can which is so great. She spent the first four years of her life stuck to mommy's side, now she's learning that daddy is pretty awesome too.

Forgive the lack of pictures ... it takes an eternity to upload pictures from our camera to our laptop, and our hefty computer has died. I'm seeing a new computer in our future.
