Dan doesn't like it when I say that.

Does anyone know other 15 month olds who only need 9 hours of sleep at night? This seems abnormal to me. Ana has, and always has, been a great sleeper. She sleeps lots and she sleeps awesome. Toby on the other hand, regularly tells us his abhorrance for routine and good sleep.

He is a stinker. Well, he's something other than a stinker. But Dan doesn't like it when I call him that.

In other news, we had an active weather day around these parts. And for those who know me well, know that I get all giddy with excitement when the air is juicy, the sky gets green and the wind picks up. There was, apparently, a tornado just south of Marshall. Like, say, right over my in-laws house. But it didn't seem to bother them much. Because they called us and said "Yeah, the sirens are going. Yeah, there's really big hail coming down. Yeah, the radio says there's a tornado over us. Yeah, we're just walking around the house doing our thing."

Um, get thee to the basement! Except, of course, they don't have a basement. So I suppose, walking about the house normally is not so far-fetched...

The garden is doing so well, except for the beans. Which are really just poking along. And the other night Ana and I saw a three point buck in the backyard. He was so beautiful. Little did I know that it is HE who mows down all my lovely greens. I didn't have the electric fence on in the garden yet. And when I went out later to close the gate and hook up the electricity, there were fresh hoof prints, and no beet greens or chard to speak of.

The little stinker. Only, I call him something other than a stinker. But Dan doesn't like it when I say that.

Hey Joy - funny post. :) We've learned that the later we put Jonathan to bed, the less he sleeps. Maybe try putting him to bed earlier for a few weeks and see what happens? Might be worth trying. :)

A good thought. And it might work, if he would go to bed earlier. This one simply doesn't need as much sleep. It's an adjustment after Ana, the marathon sleeper (she slept or 15 hours last night).
