This is an Indian heirloom ... with yellow pods instead of green. Yesterday, Dan, Ana and I each tasted one ... and they were so sweet and delicious. Looks like we're going to do stir fry tomorrow night.
The chickens (they are no longer chicks) are getting used to the outdoors after a few days of being, well, chicken. The cats however, they're not quite sure what exactly to think of them.

Those pea pods look very good. Mine are all mowed down by rabbits.
All of them! grrrrrr......But, my strawberries are good. I picked a big bowlful tonight. Mosquitoes are also soooo big. Slap..Slap. Your chicks are big! Joy, you have green thumb.
